Client: Project GRAD
A unique approach to school reform
Project GRAD's mission is to ensure a quality public education for all children living in low-income communities. Our goal is to increase high school graduation rates by 80 percent and to see 50 percent of those graduates enter and complete college. We are a non-profit education reform program that is currently serving 141,000 students and 8,500 teachers in 232 of the nation's most disadvantaged schools. Since the implementation of the program, the number of students graduating from the first group of GRAD high schools increased by 85 percent. Moreover, the number attending college from these schools increased by 400 percent, and, thus far, students are graduating from college at a rate 89 percent higher than students from similar backgrounds.
