Objective:
Project GRAD is a comprehensive non-profit school reform program, founded over 10 years ago in Houston TX. Its mission is to insure a quality public education for all children in economically disadvantaged communities. Today GRAD serves over 142,000 students in underachieving school districts across the country. These two brochures entitled 10+ Years of Notable Success and An Opportunity to Invest in the Nation's Future were commissioned to demonstrate Project GRAD's accomplishments in various school districts over the past 10 years, and to involve national and local business leaders in supporting GRAD's important work. My assignment included researching GRAD's many accomplishments and successes; working with key Project GRAD personnel in both Houston and New York in defining and describing various investment opportunities; writing informative and descriptive copy to accomplish GRAD's dual goals; and working with the graphic design firm in creating these two visually attractive and effective brochures.
